Crumpet recipe
All our family loves English crumpets but unfortunately you can't buy them here in Germany. Does anybody have an easy recipe (with ingredients that I can buy in Germany) Thanks for your answers.

Re:Does Anyone know how to make Takoyaki?
Hello! Takoyaki! Yum...that's fried...octopus. Can I talk in Spanish for this? I need the practice... And if you don't understand my Spanish, I'll put it in English too! (Wait, never mind. That's too hard!)
English:
INGREDIENTS: 1 cup flour 2 1/2 cup dashi soup 2 eggs 1/2 lb. boiled octopus chunks 1/4 cup chopped green onion 1/4 cup dried sakura ebi (red shrimp) 1/4 cup chopped pickled red ginger *For topping: bonito flakes, aonori (green dried seaweed), worcestershire sauce or takoyaki sauce, mayonnaise PREPARATION: Mix flour, dashi soup, and eggs in a bowl to make batter. Thickness of the batter should be like potage soup. Put oil inside cups of a takoyaki grill pan. Pour batter in the cups to the full. Add chopped octopus, red ginger, and green onion in each hole. Grill takoyaki balls, turning with a pick. When takoyaki become rounds and brown, remove them from the pan and place in a plate. Put sauce and mayonnaise on takoyaki and sprinkle bonito flakes and aonori on the top.

Add one-third meringue in 5's bowl first, and mix them with a spatula. Next, add all of the meringue and mix them by scooping from the bottom of the bowl. 7. Put them in the mold and drop it two times from a height of 5cm to force the air into the paste. 8. Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes 9. After you take the cake from oven, turn the cake mold upside down not to shrink the cake. LET CAKE COOL IN THE UPSIDE-DOWN MOLD. 10. When cool, cut and serve.

Re:rice stick noodles
Make the noodles themselves? Or the dish that the noodles are in?
I'm sorry, but could you be more specific?
Are they in a soup? Or are they just noodles, with some green onions, and rolled into a roll and chopped?
(Sorry if I'm confusing you...)

Re:Re:Does Anyone know how to make rice balls?
Hmm...I thought you added a little bit MORE water to make it stickier? (Ah, I might be wrong!)
And I always thought you shaped them into a triangle shape...
And do you need salt?
