Hello there. Firstly, I'm not a female but am a 22 year old male. I was born here in Hong Kong but I went to Canada when I was young and grew up in an English-speaking environment. However, I also speak Cantonese and Mandarin fluently and I've started taking classes in Japanese and Korean recently, due to just having found my interest in language after having studied two years of engineering in Canada. Anyway, I'd really like to know more about Japan in addition to what I'm learning in class and in exchange, I can help you on improving your spoken English, if you don't mind that I'm a male... :\

Watashi wa Melissa-desu. I do not know/own much Anime/Manga, etc but I would really like to learn (from recommendations). I am part-Japanese but was raised in Samoa. I wanted to be a translator too (or an English professor). English is the only language I speak. I am teaching myself Japanese (started last month). In a few years, I hope to speak Spanish (this time take classes) *haha*.
