Re: whale meat
Peter,
certainly in past decades more whale meat was eaten in Japan than now. However, whale meat is still eaten there, e.g. the tail meat called “onomi” (尾の身), prepared as either sashimi or steak, and the belly meat called “unesu” (畝須), which is made into whale bacon. An online search in Japanese for whale meat (鯨肉) will reveal many whale meat products that are still consumed in Japan.

Re: whale meat
Hello there,
there are some concerns about whale meat. One concern is that certain species of whales that are valued for their meat are unsustainably hunted; for example, species such as fin whales and sei whales are endangered. Another concern is the level of mercury in whale organ meat, which can be toxic to humans if such meat is eaten frequently.
The environmental reason for eating whale meat that you’d presented, viz eating humpback whales to reduce the number of attacks on humans by great white sharks around Western Australia, seems somewhat contrived. Great white sharks follow their prey, which include humpback whales, and humpback whales are found near Western Australia from April through December. Between 1995 and 2020, there have been 18 deaths in total from great white shark attacks around Western Australia, and only three of those deaths were in the southern hemisphere summer, from January through March, when most people go to the beaches. Arguing for increased whale hunting because of 18 human deaths by great white sharks over a 25-year period seems to me to be an extreme reaction.

whale
Whale meat. An extremely powerful food, yet a food that questions the resident’s history and culture at the same time. As civilization evolves, more and more people forget about our food-culture. While it can act as a useful food ingredient that provides a lot of people with powerful food, its potential can also solve problems about famine. Meat in the whale can give a lot of people without difficulty cooking . In the near future that awaits, this is not a problem that can be ignored for both the national and the hunters. In order to build a better environment about eating in Japan, there needs to be a way to properly deal with the Europian-culture problem so that it will be benefiting the whole The first reason is that they grant hunters fair rules to whales. This is something that can be disturbed in the ocean on a hunting whale, where hunters focus on their whole and hunt during the hunting, or while waiting for the whole. For instance, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society can attack the Japanese ships when they are supposed to be hunting, and be hunting whales . As the western counties affect more and more accessibility to us, the more distracted they will be from them. With this, their thinking will gradually never stop for a long time, and it may end up greatly affecting our life. Though access to the whale can be a great help and be very useful, that does not mean that all people will always be on what they are supposed to be. With the evidence above, unlimited access to whales is becoming a growing problem in culture based world cultures. Other than access to eastern countries, another reason why we should eat whales is because of environmental protection .This refers to biology , as well as the problem may cause for the people around them. For example, It was "Australian" (August 1 date). According to the local correspondent,"The bereaved and the meeting of the 17 years old girl who Minister of the Environment fried food den Bergh was surfing according to the article at the shore of Western Australia on July 31, and was sacrificed for the shark. It was to have provided instructions to investigate it for the scientific industrial study mechanism of the governmental research institute as soon as possible whether it was causally associated with the increase of the shark surprise attack case and increase of the number of the habitation of the whale afterwards" With the reasons above, I conclude that whole can give in the way of eating in Japan as more and more of it becomes importance. The main reasons for this is because of access to culture, biology. While it may be a good resource, and definitely be a great tool for research, it just might have far too much potential for the nation to handle.

Re:Needing help with an English Project
Hello! I'd love to help! I don't know all that much about politics or government. People here do all kinds of work probably all the same things that they do in your country. Teens here like to hang out, go to movies, listen to music, play sports, and many like to cosplay and go to anime and comic conventions. Some school is free.. there are public schools, elementary school goes from first grade through fifth grade, middle school from sixth to ninth, and high school from tenth to twelfth grade. We start school at age six and graduate high school at seventeen or eighteen. We have private schools too, but most of them cost money. And college costs money too unless you can get a scholarship. What teens dream of doing is different for everyone.. but most want to get a good job, have a family, travel.. things like that.
