My name is Eileen. My family is from the Dominican Republic. I love east asian languages and have been studying Japanese since I was fourteen. I hope to further myself in the Japanese language as well as delve into more east asian languages. I'm hoping to dedicate three hours a week with a private course as well as continue my independant study. I do well with grammar but need assistance with conversation and furthering the number of kanji I can read and write. I'm looking for an instructor whom can help me build confidence in speaking.

Hello! I would like to learn Romanian because I am going to be working at a university in Balti, Moldova starting in late August. I've managed to teach myself a few useful phrases and vocabulary worfs, but as a language teachr myself, I recognize my need for formal instruction. The teacher should be professional and committed. I started learning Japanese about 6 months ago on my own. I started with flashcards and have moved up to reference books and one free online lesson (unfortunatel y I'd have to pay for the other 48). I'm working on my characters and memorizing them and I'm working on vocab. I got into the Japanese culture because when I was about 5 or 6 a teacher from the northeast coast of Japan came and stayed with us. I really got to know her and she was a great person and I was so amazed by everything she brought that I knew that one day I had to go visit her, so that's kinda why I want to study the language, I want to show her how much I've learned since I met her and want to make her proud. I think the Japanese culture is amazing and Japanese is unlike any other language I've learned. I'm really dedicated to learning the language. Please help me. Arrigato gozaimasu.
