I am an Accountant who got a degree in my country (Dominican Republic) and living in the states since 3 years ago. I'm looking for a good teacher who can help me improve my english. I don't know what's my english level, I'd say it's still intermediate. My main concern is how to speak proper english (a very strong accent!!!), so I can become a better professional. My main language is Spanish, so I guess that anytime I try to say something, I think in spanish and translate into english...and that's when i mess up my speaking!
In order for me to understand, I need to know WHY of certain words,sentenc es or simply grammar, so I'm willing to find a teacher who can help me Understand, someone who uses real life and good examples that I can apply to my daily basis.
I have pleny of time to dedicate to my lessons. Please contact me ASAP because I really need it in order to get better job opportunities .
