Hi, my name is Kayla. I am currently in elementry spanish II in the local community college, I consider myself a beginner. I am very interested in learning different languages. I am going to continue taking credit classes in spanish but I need to continue praciticing during the summer. I want to become a very good conversationa list. I am willing to spend up to four or five hours a week working on the lessons. I don't have a car at the present time, so transportatio n might be an issue depending on where you are located. The qualities I am seeking in a teacher are pretty basic. I need a teacher that knows spanish and english well. I would also like a teacher who likes to teach, because that's when the class is enjoyable.

My name is David Bergstrom. My grandpa, Pedro Amuchastequi; came from Lekeitio, Spain in 1903 to Mountain Home, Idaho. He married Justa Gandiaga and they had my mother, Mary Ami; as my granpa's name was changed to Pete Ami when he entered the U.S.
I want to learn my grandpa's spoken language prior to going to his hometown Lekeitio for a visit next year. I learned spanish in high school and also Russian in college so, my ability to learn a language is certain.
I only heard my grandpa speak Basque when I was 4 to 6 years of age when he came to live with us in Dallas, Texas.
I have not given it a lot of thought as to how much time I would like to dedicate to learning Basque but, would entertain as much as possible per week.

My proficiency level is beginner.I am learning Ukrainian for i am marring a woman from the Ukraine and although she speaks very good english and along with speaking german .I feel that i need to understand and i want to commuicate with her and her family,friend s and all Ukrainians when we visit the Ukraine.I hav ben to the Ukraine twice now.Once in Odessa and the last trip being Poltava. I feel that it is important for me to try to understand and speak some Ukrainian for her.Since she does speak my language.If feel that i need to know hers,if only alittle.I could spend a couple of hour in the evenings 2 times a week to learn.I am just looking for communcation skills and a teacher will to have the patience to teacher me.I do sometimes have a hard time to understand thing ,but i will give it my all too.
