I am a beginner Creole speaking person. My family speaks Creole and I would like to learn. I previously studied Mandarin for a year and a half in China. I have worked with several tutors since I have been back. I would love to have a more formal class and feel I would actually benefit more from shared lessons than from one on one classes. Either way I need a structured class with homework every week or I dont feel that I will make improvement. I would love to have a textbook or at least a set cirriculum but I have not been able to find one that was at my level. I currently work full time so I would like to spend 1-2 hours a week on classes and downtown would be my preferred meeting place although near north or near southside would also be fine.
