I would like to learn Japanese and I would also like my 2 year old daughter to learn Japanese. So maybe I would need 2 tutors, or one who works well with Children and adults.
I'm a beginner, I've learned some vocabulary, and greetings, and hiragana, and a few kana.
My daughter, I try to teach her a few words, but I'm not even sure I'm prounouncing them right or saying them fast enough. She's at an age right now where she is soaking up everything around her. She can count 1-8 just from watching an anime where they count 1-8 in Japanese. So I want her to have an actual tutor so that she will be able to speak natively.
I'm looking for a tutor or tutors to come to my home, preferably one. I would like someone who's great with kids. I'm willing to pay travel costs!

Greetings,
I have an affinity and great love for the Gaelic arts, song, story-telling , history, and culture. I'm a 'newbie' and need to start from the very beginning.
I am a singer/songwr iter, and recently learned and performed by first Celtic pieces for the public. The inflections, ornaments, and intonnations came quite naturally, and proved to be a hit with the several different audiences. This has inspired me to investigate the possibilites of learning to speak and sing in Gaelic.
I am seeking a patient and highly proficient teacher who doesn't mind a student who asks 'a lot' of questions, and won't allow me to skip the grammatical 'nitty gritty' details. As there are no Gaelic instructors near my area, so I need to study via Internet/tele phone.
I can safely say that I can dedicate 6-8 hours per week towards language studies.

I am currently studying French as a major at UCF. I'm also studying Italian and Russian through school and Swedish on the side. I am confident in my French and Italian, but my Russian and Swedish can definately use improvement. Russian grammar and pronunciation are my hardest points.
I'm studying languages to one day work overseas. I plan on volunteering with either the Peace Corp or Medecins Sans Frontieres upon receiving a BA. I hope to one day be employed with the United Nations. I dedicate as much time as possible to learning languages. I currently work in a tourist area at a high-end luggage boutique, which brings in many foreigners and allows me to practice conversation. I listen to books on cd (usually French or Russian) while driving. The most effective way I've found to learn languages is to watch movies my favorite movies in other languages.
