Hello Teacher,
My proficiency level is beginner. I study very hard everyday learning and writing in Portuguese. I travel to Curitiba often and desire the independent ability to hold a diverse conversation. I need improvement mainly concerning grammar and conversation but if I had to choose between the two I would focus on conversation. I would like to dedicate 3 to 4 days a week to better myself. I find Portuguese to be a demanding yet beautiful language. I need a teacher that is personal and patient. I think my teacher will see my eagerness to learn in my focus and commitment.

Hi my name is Adam Lee Perez. I am from the New York area and i am interested in learning mandarin for a number of reasons. One of them being i want to go into international buiness in china after college and i feel know the language and understanding the culture will better help me understand the needs of the people. Also the girl i am in love with is a NYU graduate who was born in taiwan. Her english is perfect but her parents dont speak it much. I find it hard to be accepted into a family when you cannont communicate with the parents. There are a few other reasons but i hope that you can contact me back. I am looking forward to a response i do live in Manhattan and i am pretty flexible with traveling to other boroughs to study. This would be a great life experience and i hope to see a teacher soon. I have a new job selling accounting software (contract). I want to become permanent, full-time and learning Spanish will strengthen my chances of being hired. Many callers are in PR, CA, TX and speak Spanish and very little English. I need to become proficient in Spanish, at least being able to probe the customer and sell in Spanish.
