I am a Chicago native seeking to improve my Arabic language skills to further my academic and personal interest in the Middle East and North Africa. I have taken the equivalent of one year and a half of introductory Modern Standard Arabic as well as a semester's worth of conversationa l Moroccan Arabic (in Morocco). I can read and write MSA and received a score of 'Advanced Low' on the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI). I am looking for an instructor for up to five hours a week to further my reading, writing, and speaking abilities in MSA. I would prefer a tutor who can accommodate a flexible schedule as I work a full-time job with irregular hours.

I'm a beginner, trying to to the self teaching thing but i'm having trouble so i would like a teacher. I'm just learning Korean for fun it might come in use later on in life. Since I only have 4 classes this year, i'm willing to go to Korean class right after school. I have a basic vocabulary in spoken Mandarin and a reading vocabulary specific to Chinese medicine. I have lived and traveled in Taiwan and China and would like to devote more time to improving my language skills. I would like to spend about 4-6 hours/week with a tutor or in a classroom setting.
