I am at a beginner proficiency level with no previous Mandarian language classes or training. I wish to learn Mandarian Chinese primarily because my husband is Chinese American, who speaks Mandarian. I would also liked to learn the language to advance my career as a social worker. I wish to dedicate at least 3 hours per week to language lessons. I am interested in a teacher, who uses creative teaching methods and also can incorporate information on the Chinese culture in the lessons. Furthermore, I would prefer a teacher who has a high proficiency in the English language.

I wish to become a student of Khmer. I have only learned a small bit of the language so far. My fiance and her family are Cambodian and some members of her family speak very little English. I would like to be able to speak with them in their native tongue. I also want to be sure that our children are bilingual. My fiance and her family currently live in Los Angeles, while I live here in Buffalo, NY. It is not currently possible then to learn Khmer from my fiance or her family. I would like to get a head start on the language. Please contact me. I look forward to hearing from someone.

Hello,
I am interested in learning to speak the Czech language. I have some knowledge and ability, but would still call myself a 'beginner'. I have traveled to the Czech Republic 3 times in the last 3 years, and will be returning every year, if possible. I am a school teacher and I am married with 2 children. I am dedicated to learning this language and will work very hard. I have very speical relationships and friendships in Prague and in Suchdol, also in Bruno. It is important to me that I am better able to communicate upon my return. I would like someone to teach me this language who also has a love of Czech people and culture. I don't mind learning within a group or one-on-one instruction. I can travel to areas outside of Richmond, Virginia, but it would need to be within a 75-100 mile distance. Thank You!!
