I am a beginner (I have absolutely no previous experience with Russian). I hope to learn enough Russian to continue on with it in College and I am willing to dedicate up to 5 times a week for lessons. I have taken two semesters of Vietnamese and been to Vietnam twice since 2002. I am learning Vietnamese because I work with recent Vietnamese immigrants to help get them their high school diplomas. I am also very interested in the culture. I need particular help with pronunciation and conversation. I have learned the northern dialect mostly.
I would like to meet once or twice a week for two hours.

My husband was born in Zambia and left when he was around nine years old. We have family there. We are now going to have our own child and would like to teach him the Nyanja language. We are both beginners, however, my husband is barely familiar with understanding the language but has a problem with speaking the language. I am a total beginner. We would like to be able to teach our child as well as communticate in Nyanja when we make trips back to Zambia.
We expect the instructor to be very familiar with the Nyanja spoken in Lusaka. It would be nice if we could meet in person for the lessons, however, we are open to internet, etc.
