Hi, This is for my 15yr old son who has done his 2 years high school Spanish and wishes to take one more year of Spanish during this summer to finish the 3rd year course that some universities ask for. He wishes to finish this course during the summer so that he can take other subjects during the academic year.He will be able to give further information during the day, after he gets back from his school.
I am looking for a fine teacher who has good command over the language and who conducts classes in Fremont with probably several students in class.

Dear Sir or Madam:
I have been listening to Ukrainian language tapes for beginners in which I purchased from a company named Pimsleur.
I am learning Ukrainian because my significant other is Ukrainian and I want to communicate with his family. I also hope to complete a PhD while studying in Ukraine.
I need improvement in all areas as I am a beginner, however, the area I am most concerned with is spoken or conversation.
I would like to take lessons once a week and work on assignments outside of the lessons for 1-2 hours a day.
I would like to learn basic Ukrainian so that I can get around when I visit Uzhgorod and other cities in the Transcarpathi an area at the end of this year, 2004. I am mainly interested in learning conversationa l Ukrainian so that I can communicate if I live there for an extended period of time.

I am a college student, I just came from Bangkok and I loved the culture and the people. My native lenguage is Spanish but i a;so speak english too. Looking for a Spanish teacher or a Spanish Class in Mexico City (close to Santa Fe) during June 28 - July 2, 4-6 hours per day. I am a 40 year old professional, currently a beginner (Started with Spanish in September -03) but would like to improve as much as possible during this week. If possible a combined learning with formal class room training and also exploring of Mexico City.

I tried very informal tutoring about 12 years ago, but I was unable to retain very much. I am a native English speaker who is also fluent in German and can survive in French and Spanish. My grandfather was 100% Czech/Slovak and his parents emigrated from Southern Moravia about 100 years ago. I plan to do family research one day. I am willing to settle for kinds of communication that can only be supported online (i.e. not in person), figuring that if I would need to get up to conversationa l speed, I would probably do that by immersion one day.
I am willing to put in about 6 hours a week on this (1 hour a day for 6 days, exc. Sunday). I'd like my instructor to be methodical, preferably with a syllabus, and to be open to many kinds of communication (not just oral/face-to- face).
