I know only a lil bit of tagalog. im a filipino and dont even know my own language! ive tried and been sooo anxious. the more i wayte the moore anxious i become. basically in conversation is wat i want 2 learn it in. just the fact that my enay speaks tagalog well, and waray waray, yet i dont know how 2, bothers me. every free minute of the day i will spend trying to learn this language. id rather spend 1- 2 years learning the language, then spending the rest of my life not knowing the language. having fun while learning and creating a close trusting relationship with my teacher are just a few qualities im interested in learning ths language. i really hope somebody can help me out.

I am engaged to an American businessman and we live in philadelphia for about 6 months per year and Rio for 6 months. I am able to speak and make myself understood, but my grammar is not good. Announcement: Our University's Special Language Department now looking for a Bahasa Indonesia Instructor. The classes would be 3 hours per week at the Stanford University Campus.
-I am intermediate (have taken two semesters of Indonesian plus spent6 months in East Timor)
-I am learning the foreign language for career advancement (US diplomatic core) and for undergraduate study language requirement (Stanford no longer offers Indonesian language)
-I need particular improvement in grammar and writing skills, reading and vocabulary
- I want to dedicate 3 hours per week to language lessons or longer
-I would like lessons to be in person, I need an instructor unafraid to give homework.
