I am a native English speaker originally from Massachusetts . My Grandparents spoke Polish and French yet I know only things in context. I am pursuing a dual major in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences and Linguistics. I love language grammar and syntax. I know Polish is a hard language to master yet I would like to be able to converse. I know pronunciation , alphabet and some phrases. I just completed a research paper on Polish syntax and morphology and that left me wanting to know more. I would like to study once or more a week. I am looking for a teacher who has advanced teaching skills regarding the explanation/t eaching of Polish syntax especially.

i want to learn Vietnamese for personal reason, my level is that of a child at best. I want to learn and cover all bases of the language. I would like to discuss further about how much time and money the course will be but I plan to devote a lot of time to this. The qualities most important to me in a teacher would be someone who can effectively teach Vietnamese, force me to speak it, i.e. not socially converse in English, some one who can clearly explain grammar to me, not point at a picture, say a word and ask me to repeat. Patience is a must but also someone who is thorough, relentless and has a proven record of success with their students.

I am learning Turkish for career advancement and travel. I believe my level is Intermediate. I took Turkish at UCLA for 1 year and lived in Istanbul for 6 months. All in all, I have been studying Turkish for 2 years. I need to improve my conversation skills and utilizing the more difficult grammar concepts in conversation. I also need to build my vocabulary. I would like to spend between 30 minutes and 1 hour/ day on language lessons. I am looking for a teacher that has organized lesson plans and a program I can follow to reach my goal of becoming an advanced speaker.

I'm planning to move soon because I'm marrying in the military and he might be stationed on the west side and I would love to be able to communicate with other people in Japanese, also to have it as a second language. I also love the culture and have also traveled to Japan and plan on visiting there soon. I am a beginner and I need improvement in conversation and writing it.
