I'm looking to learn Dutch because I will be moving to the Nederlands in June of 2013 and I would like to be somewhat proficient. My boyfriend is from there and just recently moved back, although he is working in Germany. As of now, I cannot speak or understand any Dutch.

I am French, I am 19 years old, I am here for one year and I have studied Chinese at Unversity in France.

At the beginning, I choosed to learn Chinese to discover a new foreign language, and a new culture.
I learned Chinese for 4 years, but just a little everyweek. I would like to improve my Chinese (who is actually not good at all, because I stopped for almost one year) during my year here in the United States, because I want to take Languages as a major at University (English and Chinese) when I will go back to France.
I would like to find a teacher who help me to improve oral and written comprehension and conversations , and also to be able to speak about and to understand conversations of everyday life.

Initia lly I have a specific need. I am about to publish a YA novel entitled Swan of War, which takes place in Sligo and shuttles between ages of Irish myth and legend.
I researched the book for several years, however, as I'm submitting the final draft, I would like to have an Irish speaker review the glossary and check the pronunication for the 80 Irish mythological names and terms.
We could do this via email-- if you let me know your rates, I also teach in midtown if you prefer to meet up. In addition I would very much like to begin studying Irish, so perhaps we could have a longer connection.
