Hello or Should I Say Bonjour,
I n High School I Took French 1 and 2.
I learned a lot from it but yet so little at the same time.
Readin g the language from what i remember and have been taught i do really well, but when it comes to listening and grammar parts i do not so well.
I need someone who is patient with me and makes me feel comfortable.
I feel the reason i didn't do so well in high school is my teacher made me and the other students feel dumb if we didn't get it right away and didn't take the time to let us actually LEARN.
I want to become proficient in many languages, because i think it is something everyone should do and i would like to travel around the world.

I am a 50 year person. Non punjabi. Have a love of languages and wish to learn Punjabi because of my interest in Sikhi and plan to recieve Amrit in the near future. And would like to be able to read gurbani in punjabi(more correctly gurmukhi) and understand it without the translation.
I would be able to devote both Saturday and Sunday to lessons (Sundays after I attend Gurdwara) I work evenings otherwise would study during the week as well. In the month of November I would only be able to do online or by phone. Since I will be home recovering from surgery.
I am looking for someone who will be patient when it comes to my learning.
