I have a strong interest in Tibetan culture. I would like to travel to and live in Tibetan speaking communities.
I know the alphabet and basic sentence structure. I can read somewhat complicated sentences. I read better than I can speak. I want to learn more grammar and become fluent in the spoken language.
I would like to have daily conversations . I'm willing to spend at least an hour a day to study outside of that.

I expect my teachers to have a good knowledge of Tibetan language itself. In personal qualities I would look for good organization, promptness, patience and perseverance. Its ok if they are not extremely experienced in teaching English speakers, but experience is good.

Hello,
We are looking for a crash course introduction class to Italian. We are taking a trip to Italy on June 26th and were hoping to have 6 to 8 different 1hr lessons before we leave. We would like to begin this evening if you have time at about 6:45pm and perhaps go for an hour to hour-1/2. Our home is just off the 15 freeway in Rancho Bernardo. Please let me know if this is something you would be able to assist us with for private in-home Italian lessons for 2 weeks.

I have been studying Swedish for 3 years (Rosetta Stone all 3 levels, and classes at the Svenska Skolan). I am looking for a Swedish Teacher either in person (VA/DC area) or to skype with for the purpose of practicing coversation, vocabulary and grammar enhancement. Must be a nataive Swedish Teacher. I would say I am a mid- to high level speaker. I love the Swedish language and culture. I also watch all the Swedish movies, TV programs and dramas (Wallander, Irene Huss, Stieg Larson, etc..,) to bettery my Swedish.

1-Why you are learning your foreign language (e.g., career advancement, etc.) ANSWER: I want to learn japanese because a self impose goal to learn either japanese or chinese, my goal is solely base on curiosity and personal growing interest.
2-Your proficiency level (e.g., beginner, etc.). ANSWER: My japanese knowledge is 0, a complete beginner.
3-The areas in which you feel you need particular improvement (e.g., grammar, conversation, etc.), if any.
4-How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons. ANSWER: It will depends on teacher advise, work load, etc. I would prefer to discuss this with the teacher.
5-What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher. ANSWER: I'm not very disciplined, therefore I need a teacher capable of keeping me interested, motivated and focused. An enthusiastic and passionate teacher would be great.
