Dear Potential Teacher,
I am a 'hearing' individual looking to refresh and develop my sign language skills. I took a course 10 years ago in American Sign Language at a community college and wish to pursue this language in hopes of doing some part-time interpreting someday. Currently, my proficiency level would be 'beginner' but am a fast learner. I would prefer a deaf instructor, but not opposed to a hearing one and would enjoy lessons once or twice a week. In order to become an efficient interpreter, I would need assistance in all areas of communication with the deaf and hearing impaired. If you enjoy sharing this gift/talent with others, I would love to hear from you.

I am currently enrolled in Arabic II at a University. I have fallen a little behind and I need some help catching up as well as learnig to speak the language fluently. Hello, my name is Karla Schatzmann. I am intermidiate in German. I learned German in school so I know the basics, but I have no practice therefor it seems I am starting to forget a lot. I need to keep learning German because I am moving to Switzerland in Summer 2005 to start my University studies and I do not want to be unprepared. I need a lot of improvement in grammar and conversation skills. I would like about 4 hours a week of german practice. Qualities I am searching for in my lessons and teacher are a lot of conversing and grammar practice. Not just textbooks, I need practice speaking and want someone outgoing and sociable willing to talk about different topics, and correct me while this is happening as well as leave me homework.
