I am estonian, living in Chicago.I have always wanted to learn swedish language.Ther e is no special reason. I am a beginner, but have had some lessons. My goal in learning Chinese is to become proficient enough to carry on technical conversations in the language.
I would like to spend between 2-4 hours a week in private lessons.
The qualities I would look for in a teacher are that they are a fluent speaker (native is a plus, but not necessary), are highly proficient in english, have some teaching experience, and are just a little bit patient.

I am a beginner. I just got married, and my husband's family came from Poland when he was 3 years old. I have picked up words from them for 'thank you', 'good night', etc., but I can't spell them. I would like to learn Polish to speak it in their home with them, and ultimately be able to travel to Poland in the next year or 2 and visit with his family who do not know English.
I am willing to have lessons over the phone, over email or text chat, or in person, whatever works out.
I studied Spanish and Latin in school, and I taught myself some French. I think I have an aptitude for languages, but I generally need someone or a class to teach me because I have ADD and don't complete tasks well on my own.
