I am a professor of Chinese language now living in Central Ohio. I taught at the Far Eastern State University in Khabarovsk, Russia as a Senior Language Instructor, Department of Chinese language. Khabarovsk is a city sitting about 25 miles from China. I thus have also worked and travelled extensively in China and understand much about Chinese culture.
I have taught students for 16 years both at this university and also I have taught many private students ages 17 (last two years of secondary education) through college age. I am currently offering private tutoring to interested students including basic phonetics, technical writing, grammar and spoken language. I have a curriculum including weekly instruction and assignments that build the basic components to learn Chinese for beginners. I provide for students all necessary materials at no additional cost. In my experience I have always had a positive, friendly, and enjoyable relationship with my students who I very much enjoy teaching....
