Hi, I hope my answer helps me. I consider that most of us are patient to listen and answer your questions as long as you speak Japanese. You will be surprised to know that not so many Japanese understand English. Many of us can read and write English pretty well. but when it comes to speaking or listening.... few can understand. But, please keep in your mind that we are very friendly and gentle to others.

Hi!
Hi! Do any of you know how I could get a scholarship to India? I want to learn there Malayalam, Hindi or Sanskrit. I need to study these languages because I'm writing my dissertation now about language history and the theme has many connections to these languages, but I can speak neither of them.

In korea, is there any use of characters that have been derived from chinese characters (like how japanese uses 2 different kanji's)? I was at a website and they were saying something about that but I couldn't see what was typed because my computer can't display Korean text. Can you tell me about that? If you want a language exchange partner, i can help you. I speak english and am studying Japanese and Korean right now.

I'm Siri, living in Bangkok, just got into this website today so I'm not sure if it's too late telling you some information. Perhaps you're in Thailand right now and found out where to study Thai and Thai food culinary school. I actually don't have exact information for you now, but I think you can check it out in classified ads in "Bangkok Post" or "The Nation" newspaper, the only 2 local newspaper in English. Or visit their website, should be some info you're looking for.
