Details: I seek a job where my skills as a Portuguese native speaker can be of value. I have a licentiate degree in Biology by the Faculty of Sciences of the univeristy of Porto. I have conducted research on an independent basis, of which three published articles have resulted: - Salgueiro, J. 2002. Catálogo dos Formicídeos de Portugal Continental e Ilhas. [Catalogue of the Formicidae of Continental Portugal and Islands.] Boletín de la Sociedad Entomológica Aragonesa 31: 145-171. - Salgueiro, J. 2002. Language skills: - English, fluent at all levels, learned in highschool, practiced daily in professional activities. - French, fluent at all levels, learned in highschool, practiced daily in professional activities. - Spanish (Castellano), fluent at all levels, similar to Portuguese, practiced daily in professional activities. - Italian, basic notions, self-taught (also similar to Portuguese). - German, basic notions, learned at the Goethe Institut in Porto. - Japanese, basic notions, self-taught. I also speak rather fluently an artificial language, Quenya, invented by Tolkien. I have excellent learning skills, which allow me to expand my linguistic knowledge, given the adequate conditions. |
