Details: OBJECTIVE: To obtain to a challenging position as senior merchandiser - goods buying representative for a company looking to source products in Vietnam WORK EXPERIENCE: 2000 – 2006: • Representative office for a Hong Kong based company that sources products in Vietnam - toys, furniture for indoor-outdoor use, pottery, household goods, footwear, seasonal gifts. Managing all in-country activities, from optimal sourcing, to government license, to order placement, to quality assurance, to expedited delivery. Expanding the export product line for the company by determining specific new products, locating and qualifying individual suppliers, negotiating contracts. Negotiating with both domestic suppliers and overseas buyers to obtain the optimal conditions for both. 1998 – 1999: • Lucky Vietnam International Co., Ltd, (Plush Toys factory) a 100% foreign investment Korean company. Assistant to the CEO, in charge of all import – export processes: customs clearance, international payment and following up production status for ongoing orders, quality control assitance. 1996 – 1998: • IMEX IDECO Import-Export Co. as staff of the Import-Export Department.
