Details: Areas of expertise in translation work: I am involved in report writing and translation work from English to Hindi and Hindi to English for various health and development related reports, books, conferences, training manuals and have done freelance work for the national level institutions. I look forward receiving such opportunities as a freelancer. I am involved in the translation work for the last 10 years on various issues (both from English to Hindi and Hindi to English). The exposure in translation work was of different kind viz.: Summarization of project reports which we receive in Hindi, translate into English and for sending to the funding agencies Editing of the health and development issues books which are translated from the experts and giving a finetuning. Translation of short stories and newsletters which we publish from our organization Interpretation and comments on the publications which go in the newsletters Translation of different questionnaires, forms, reports for the usage of the community in English or Hindi based on the requirements for the effective usage. The language is made simple and easy to understand for the common people. |
