My name is Tim, and I want to learn how to (in order) understand a normal Farsi conversation (listen, translate and speak), be able to read Persian Script, and eventually be able to write in Farsi. My reason to learn is for personal growth and I would be starting as a beginner with very little pre-existing knowledge of the language. The amount of time I would like to spend learning would be a couple times (depending on cost) a week with an actual tutor and more on my own. I want my lessons to teach me the basics i.e. alphabet, and proper pronunciation of words and letters, how to speak formally and with the native slang, and ect. I'm looking for an experience tutor that is well versed in the language and the cultural.

I am a beginner, desiring to learn Arabic so I can converse with my fiance's family, who are Lebanese. I would like to work for at least 1 to 2 hours a week with a tutor, and then invest time on my own practicing.
