I really would like to learn Persian because my father is from there but he does not live with me so he cannot teach me. I would like to visit Iran and other countries in the middle east. I am learning Spanish because I work for Child Protective Services and would like to become bilingual. I would place myself at the intermediate level but really SHOULD be at the advanced level (I have had more than 10 years in Spanish classes in school, but I never use my Spanish). I need a refresher in all parts of the language. I am willing to devote an hour and a half to lessons a week and would prefer a teacher that is profficient in both proper Spanish and slang.

Hello, my name is Sarah. I'm in love with the Japanese culture and hope to someday visit/live there. But the problem is that no one takes me seriously when I say i want to learn Japanese. I've tried books and CD's but i'm having a hard time learning. I am inquiring for my daughter who will be 15 yrs old this comine June 2011. She has been studying French from 7th, 8th and currently as a freshman in highschool in Palatine, IL. She will be coming home to Manila (specifically our home in Malate), this coming July for about one month or a little bit more. The exact dates are to be determined as she plans on attending 3 weeks of the first semester of summer school for additional credits and will leave immediately after that. She will be travelling with her grandparents and will leave about mid Aug. Again, once the airline tickets are bought, I can confirm these dates later. We would be interested in someone coming to our home in Malate and if not attend a class relatively near our home or maybe in the Makati area. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
