I have been studying Chinese off and on for the last year while living in Beijing teaching English. I would like to continue to practice and improve my Chinese. I can speak at a basic level, and may need a little help with tones but for the most part I want to improve my vocabulary and my spoken grammar. I have a variety of books I have studied from while living in China. I would like to have classes maybe 1 or 2 times a week depending on how busy my schedule is. I am looking for a teacher that is a native speaker preferably from Beijing because that is the accent I am most familiar with.

I took two years of college level Russian Language as an undergraduate student. I am hoping to enter a Master's Program within the next couple of years. However, in the interim period, I do not want to lose the language skills that I have, and I want to continue to improve while learning new things. I am especially concerned with speaking skills and grammar perfection. Grammar is more important, but speaking is very essential to me too. I would like to have 2 (2 hour) sessions a week. I am looking for an instructor who has prior teaching skills. I would also like this person to set reality-based goals for my language acquisition. I really love the Russian language, and it would be great to have an instructor who is excited about teaching!
