I am looking for a Hebrew teacher to assist my children, ages 12, 12 and 9, in preparing for their bar mitzvahs. They have had some formal training but it has been a few years. We do not belong to any temple at the present time and are looking for private lessons to begin once a week, preferably Sundays, starting in Sept. or October. My twins turn 13 in June and would like for them to be prepared by then, if possible.

I would like to learn arabic to surprise my boyfriend whose family speaks arabic at home. He is somewhat self-consciou s about his culture so I feel this would help. Also, it would help me to feel more included in their family. I have never taken arabic before. I will commit the time it takes to learn. I just want a teacher who is patient and flexible.
