I am Croatian and second generation in America. My parents spoke Croatian and I know many words and phrases and some of the grammer but my conversationa l skills are minimal. I consider myself still a beginner though I grew up with relatives speaking the language. I will be visiting Croatia for a second time and would like to be able to converse in Croatian as much as possible. I am a dedicated and serious student toward this goal and am able to devote a significant amount of time to this effort as I am now retired.

I will be returning for an extended visit to Viet Nam this summer, and would like to be able to converse with my wife's family. I am a beginner. I would like to devote several hours each week to language learning, based on the availability of the teacher. I live in Kailua, but I work in Hawai'i Kai.
