The reason I want to learn how to learn these different languages is so I may live there in the future.I would be at the beginner level.I am fairly sure that I will need the most help with grammar and conversations .I will have five out of seven days of the week to practice and learn.I qualities I wish to see in a teacher is a very strict teacher and one that will only tolerate perfection to keep me driven and focused ,also low tolerance for backsliding or laziness.

I am 2008 graduate of Bard College who has just returned form a year abroad in China, where I was studying Mandarin Chinese and working on a grant to make photographs. I have been back around a month, want to find a private tutor or language school to continue studying Mandarin. I have attained HSK level 8 certification , and as a short term goal desire to earn a level 10 certification within the next few months.

Hello my name is Heather Becker and I am a 24 year old college student. I am looking for assistance in my Japanese language training. I am in my fourth year of Japanese at UNLV but am having problems keeping up in the fast paced class. I need help mostly in grammar and conversation skills as I am not confident enough in my public speaking. I would like to be able to meet twice a week preferably after my class for an hour to go over the days lesson and for help with the homework. I really want to improve my Japanese proficiency in order to be better prepared for applying to the JET program after graduation. It has been my dream since high school to go to Japan to study and learn but I feel that my poor Japanese skills are making it harder to achieve that goal. I am looking for a teacher who can help me better understand the lessons and maybe review old lessons as I have my textbooks from all of my classes.
