I am interested in learning Farsi primarily because I am very interested in the culture, politics and history of Iran. I have become very interested in the country in light of recent months' developments, and I would like to visit one day. I was born and raised in New York City but come from a Latin Family (Colombia, South America). My first language is Spanish however, I did not go to school for Spanish it was just the household language(conv ersational). I did of course go to school here in the States so I'm fluent in English. I want to become an Interpreter and must be proficient in both languages and don't feel as confident in Spanish because of my limited grammar skills. I need a tutor to see what grade level I'm in so I could start Interpreting as soon as possible.
