I'd like to learn Japanese because I have an interest in the culture and products that come from Japan and its so different from English.
I don't know a word of Japanese so I am a beginner.

As a teacher of health and fitness I have had the honor of traveling to Tawian for the last three years. I have tried to learn Mandarin from tapes but i have not been very sucessful. I have found that the tapes have allowed me to have a small understanding of what is being said but not to communicate in the way that I want.
I would be a diligent student.
Because I work durning the week i would only be able to take classes on saturday and sunday.
My goal is to return to Tawain in May and be able to speak to my host in their language and to improve upon my ability to recognize what is being said.
please help me to reach this goal. I will be a diligent student.
