I want to learn Spanish for career advancement. I consider myself a beginner although my mom's first language was spanish, I took AP Spanish in high school, and I've worked a little with Rosetta Stone. I have a foundation, I can get by in Spanish speaking countries, and I can get the gist when watching spanish tv. However, I mostly only have knowledge of the present tense when it comes to speaking. I can understand better than I can speak because I get nervous.
I want to increase my confidence in speaking and I particularly need improvement in conversation and grammar. I can dedicate 2-4 hours a week depending on the schedule and format. I am including homework in that time estimate.
I want a teacher who can keep me on track, is patient, and can adjust lessons to my skill level so that I am not spending too much time going over things I do already know (unless that is necessary; I will defer to teacher on that). :)
