I am searching for a person who can teach me Gujarati as I live with my boyfriend and his family, who are from Gujarat. I want to understand and communicate better with his parents and understand and also be a part of family conversations . His parents speak limited English and I am picking up words but need a more formal, structured study with a teacher. I would appreciate a quick response. I am a professional pianist and it's possible that we could barter, with me providing piano lessons to your child for language lessons. I would like to learn Urdu to be able to converse better with my best friend's family as well as be able to communicate more efficiently when visiting Pakistan.
I have a very basic knowledge or Urdu. I know basic words and can read the alphabet.
I definitely need help with my grammar and I need to improve my conversationa l skills.
I am willing to dedicate up to 4 hours a week to lessons but 1 hour a week is fine as well.
