My family and I will be traveling to Germany in Dec 2005. My wife and two girls (5yrs and 12yrs) would like to learn conversationa l German in advance of this travel. We would like a private tutor once per week to come to our home or to meet in a classroom to learn as much German as possible.

--Greetings. I am a beginner in speaking Japanese but I did have several Japanese friends while I was at university- and have a bit of an ear for the language. I am trying to learn Japanese for my work. Currently I serve as the Creative Director of a research & development firm. I'm preparing for a presentation that I have in February of next year with several perspective Japanese clients. The meeting is to take place in the U.S., and although I am not expected to speak in Japanese- I would feel more comfortable if I had at least begun to build a solid foundation in japanese language before my presentation. At this point I would like be able to handle brief, polite conversation. I understand that learning to speak Japanese proficiently is not a task that I will master in a matter of months- but I assure you that I am quite dedicated to my career and will put forth a concerted effort to accomplish this task. I work around the clock, but I can spare enough time from my schedule to meet once a week. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.

I have not had formal Korean teaching before. I would classify myself as begginer. I am learning the language to speak with my girlfriends parents. I am flying to Korea in January to meet them for the first time. Conversation would be the area I need most improvement. I am willing as much time as I need to, in order to improve.
