I am a beginner and would love to learn the language. I am learning this language to better my knowledge on their culture. I am minoring in REligious studies and I am really interested in Islam. I need to learn the language. I know very little. I know some of the religious terms. I would like to dedicate one-two hours everyother day. I am interested in beginning level Mandarin classes for my staff or two and I. Our company is Milestone Global Technologies and we are a U.S. based subsidiary of a Taiwanese Electronics Distributor. We are intersted in learning Chinese more as courtesy than necessity and our interest is primarily in simple conversation.
We are intested in a weekly two hour group lesson for the three of us. The location of the lesson could be at our office in Murrieta, California or at a location within an hour of our office (Murrieta is located about one hour North of San Diego and 1/2 hour South of Riverside. We would prefer having our class during a weekday preferably in the afternoon.
We are looking for an instructor who can pace the class to our abilities and occasionally be flexible as we all travel.

I am in French V AP at a High School in Scottsdale Arizona. I'll be taking the AP exam at the end of the year. Generally I am a good French student-I've received all A's in my past years of French. However, I feel like I haven't progressed much in the past two years. I'll be graduating in May and I'm trying to plan a senior trip to Paris for myself and would really like to be as close to fluent as possible by the summer. I dont know how much time I will be able to devote to language lessons, but its a very big priority for me so I'm sure I can make myself available for any lesson. In class we do a lot of grammar but I want to be able to speak well, so I'd like a teacher who would be able to sit for a half hour or even an hour speaking only in French to me.
