I am seeking a language tutor to help me improve my Amharic, primarily because I sometimes travel to Ethiopia for work. My current ability level is that of an advanced beginner. I am able to read newspaper articles with the aid of a dictionary, and can carry on basic conversation. Grammar and speaking ability are the areas in which I need the most help. I am looking for an instructor who is patient and interested in my progress in the language, and would like to meet weekly or perhaps twice monthly. Hello,
My name is Rick Bloomgren. Onamae wa Rikku desu. Hajimemashite ^_^ I have taken Japanese language classes off and on for a good 6 years. I also have a Japanese wife who I use my Japanese with in some cases. However, I really need a more solid grasp of the language to open opportunities for me. Especially in the area of obtaining career opportunities and Engineering work overseas in Japan. At the very least, I would like to excel at my level of Japanese so that I may be able to communicate with Junko's family and friends as well. I live in Elk Grove, CA this city is right next to the Sacramento and or Davis California.

beginner, I want to learn this language because my ex husband is Bulgarian. He was a great student and learned English very fast but he was not a teacher so I know very little of his language but have always wanted to learn it. I want to learn all areas of the language. I want to spend an hour or more a day. The qualities I am looking for are for the teacher to be able to understand what I don't and have the patients to tell me in more ways than one until I get it right.
