I'm a beginner. I took Spanish for two years in high school, but that was 10 years ago. I've been to Mexico several times and I've also been to Costa Rica. These cultures have always intrigued me, so I would love to learn the language.

I would say I am still relatively a beginner, but I have learned many words and sounds of the language quickly during my short stay here for seven months.
I am currently residing in the Netherlands and have been moderately studying their native language, Dutch. I have become extremely fond of this country and would like to possibly move here in several years after my studies. Obviously, if I live here, I want to be able to proficiently speak the native language.
I need improvement in all areas of the language. I am a rather quick learner, but I have come to realize that Dutch is a difficult language to speak and to learn due to all the exceptions. I think the most important aspect I would like to focus on is the conversation.
I will be working and attending school, so my time will be limited, but I am more than willing to meet anywhere between 1-3 times per week. I would also appreciate extra work to practice during my free time.
As for my teacher/instr uctor I am looking for a flexible, responsible and patient person. A teacher that can make me feel comfortable learning the language. Someone who will show up when expected and is dependable. Preferably someone who has lived in the Netherlands for a short/long time period (I have learned that the culture deeply influences the language here!)

I've had six weeks of study near Tblisi, and am very interested in continuing to learn this beautiful language. I'm a graduate student at Miami University in Oxford, OH and am looking for someone to help me develop a basic reading/writi ng/speaking ability with the language. I'd like to meet at least once a week, and will be willing to do whatever homework is necessary. My georgian tutors in Sakartvelo were very tough (lots of memorization) and I did very well with that. I can read (slowly) though I don't know many words.
