I am a Filipina but was adopted by an american family. I am wanting to learn my native lanuage and pass it on to my son who is half Filipino and half white. I know only a few words and some phrases from listening and reading Tagalog books. I would like a patient teacher who can teach me everything I need to know about the language and how to speak it. My son is 8 months old and I would like to have him learned in the language as he begins to talk.

Hello,
I'm new to the Miami, FL area and I have found English to be the second language in this area. For personal and professional reasons I'd like to learn to speak Spanish. I took high school Spanish but I don't remember anything. My primary goal is to be able to converse effectively. I'd like to dedicate about 4-5 hours per week to this venture and I'd like my teacher to be patient and understanding because I don't think I'm a natural linguist. However, I would like someone who is going to challenge me as much as possible because I want to learn as quickly as possible.
