I fell in love Denmark while there on business. The people and the language both are very attractive to me. I have been learning Danish for a little over a year now. Struggling as there is no one to speak to where I live.

I'm setting up this profile for my 15 year old son, Ian. Ian is home-schooled and is interested in Japanese culture (through mostly popular culture) and wants to study the language and possibly study abroad. He is a beginner but frequently looks at lessons on YouTube and other social media. I think we could do one to two nights a week with lessons during the rest of the week.
I'm looking for someone who is flexible and who can work well with a teenager. Ian is very introspective , calm young man who, at times, can be easily distracted, but overall dedicated. Thanks.

I am interested in a linguistics career. I would like to learn Japanese and Mandarin in preparation and so I can easily live in China or Japan. I have beginner-inte rmediate fluency of Japanese (I'd previously taken it for 2 years) and no Mandarin proficiency. I would like to reach perfect fluency in both languages; in speaking, listening, writing, and reading. I have plenty of time in the week to study and do homework. I am interested in 2 hours of 1-on-1 instruction of each per week. I need an instructor who can be very personalized.

I'm learning japanese because I want to go to Tokyo Animition College, but I am required to learn japanese so I can understandwha ts going on in the class. So I need to learn the most advance japanese, and so far I only know greetings, and colors. I could dedicate after school time, from 5:00 to 7:00 on every day but tuesday and thursday.
