I have Viet friends, so would like to learn so I can understand more of common conversations . I am a beginner, with no real experience. I could spend up to three times a week at least an hour each time. I would prefer live lessons, and because I live in Arlington VA (22201) and work downtown DC(20005) I can be available for lessons in most of Arlington, Alexandria, and maybe falls church or fairfax, or dc near my office.

I am a high school student interested in learning begginer's German. I am willing to learn, to dedicate the time necessary, and simply immerse myself in the language and culture. I want to study film abroad if possible, and my main reason for learning German is German cinema. I want to be able to speak and understand the language conversationa lly, and am looking for a teacher just as dedicated and willing to spend time and teach me, and better if the lessons were live in person.

My family is originally from Poland and I am 3rd generation American. The Polish speakers in my family have since passed away. Before my grandfather died I promised him I would learn the language but I put it off for about 10 years. So...I know a few words in Polish but that's it. My proficiency level is beginner. I cannot afford weekly lessons but would like to have at least two lessons a month with study materials in between.
