A language training company is in need of part-time Portuguese tutors. We have two adult students who will be moving to Brazil in January due to work-related purposes. Both students are beginners and will need basic conversation and survival skills. The location of the lessons will be in downtown Pittsburgh and Cranberry Township. Private lessons will take place twice per week, preferably Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00am-12:00 pm, at each location. Lessons to start November 30th and last through the end of December.
Requirements: Minimum of 1 year Portuguese teaching experience. Native or fluent Portuguese proficiency. Bachelors degree, certification or related education preferred.

To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to learn how to speak, write and read the polish language. My wife is from Poland and polish is her native language. She speaks, writes amd reads english fluently (she went to school in the U.S.). However, I think it would be best for me to learn from an individual who has been formally trained to teach a foreign language. On the plus side, my wife will be able to assist me during the week. It is difficult to carry a lengthy conversation with her parents since they do not speak english very well. I would like to overcome this challenge by learning their native tongue.
My proficiency level is beginner.
The area I would like to concentrate on is conversation. However, I plan on learning all areas.
Initially , I think I would like to dedicate ninety (90) minutes per week.
Some of the qualities in a teacher I am looking for are: thorough, detail oriented, clear expectations, understanding of the upcoming challenges when one is in the process of learning a new language, sense of humor.
