My name is Kathleen Shumsky and I am looking for a tutor to teach me Russian. I decided to learn this particular language because my father came here from Russia when he was 17. We have become estranged, but my grandfather would like me to come visit him in St. Petersburg. I would like to do a study abroad program in my senior year of high school for a semester, and that would only work if I spoke russian, as my school does not offer it as a foreign language. Needless to say, I am a beginner, I only know some phrases and a little of the alphabet. I would be willing to dedicate as much time as it takes to become fluent in this language. I'm only looking for a nice, decent, capable person to teach me. :)
