I have loved the Korean culture ever since very long and have tried to self teach my self but it wasn't very effective lol. So I would like to start as a beginner, I think i should focus on learning more words, grammar, and conversation. I can work on it at what ever time is good for you after school. I am wanting to learn Farsi for personal reasons. I am half Iranian. My mom was born in Iran (Tehran), and never taught us the language. Now that I am older I want to learn, and I wish I had long ago.
My proficiency Level is beginner, and I dont have any knowledge or base. I can tell when someone is speaking Farsi versus Arabic but that doesn't really count as proficiency.
I can dedicate formally in person a few hours a week, but on own at every break in my schedule I will be practicing.
I would like a teacher who engages, and is ok with working with a queer /transgender individual. so someone that is affirming to those identities.

Hello,
My name is Katy and I am a young professional in Washington, D.C. working in the government. I learned French in High School, first year through Advanced Placement but have not been able to practice since. In college I also took Italian, which is now significantly stronger than my French. I am also originally from Russia, so my native languages are Russian and English.
W hile I am not a beginner, I will need a lot of review of grammar and basic vocabulary. I am able to understand and read moderately well, however, speaking is at a lower level because I have not had much practice over the past few years.
I would like to increase my conversationa l and grammar proficiency.
I have a really hectic schedule at work, and so will most likely be only able to devote some time during the weekend for language lessons.
I am looking for a native French speaker. It would be great if the teacher could discuss art and fashion, current and past foreign relations, as well as literature and traveling.
