I am a beginner in both Russian and French. I have been to Russia twice and France once. Each time I have gone to Russia it has been to do relief work and each time I have had to use an interperter. I will be going back to Russia in six months to a year and I would like very much to not have to rely on other people to speak for me. I took French in High School and really loved the language so I want to learn more of it.

I am a beginning learner. I have taken some private lessons with an excellent teacher. I have a workbook from that class, a CD and listen to Chinese radio. I would like to take weekly classes to learn the fundamentals of reading and conversing in Chinese. I would like to learn writing at the same time, if possible. I plan to use this language in business someday, but I am very young. An enthusiastic teacher is very good.

I am a beginning level student for learning the Finnish language. My fiance is a Finnish native and we will traveling to Finland in December. I will be meeting his family for the first time and most of his family members do not speak english very well. I have tried to learn finnish by studying some books that I purchased, but the language is a bit too hard for me to try to learn on my own. I will need help on the grammar, conversation, and pronunciation of the Finnish language. My accent is pretty bad and I want to make sure that I am saying the words properly enough for people to understand. I would like to have lessons once or twice a week for one hour per lesson. Although I will be traveling to Finland during the Christmas season, I would like to continue the lessons upon my return, so that I could improve my skills to a proficient level.
I would prefer that my teacher to be a native speaker of the language, but I welcome anyone interested in teaching me.
