My husband and myself would like to learn conversationa l spanish. We are beginners and we would like lessons once a week. We would like a teacher who is patient and has a sence of humor.
My father was from Peru and came to this country when he was a young man in the 1950's. He felt that speaking spanish in this anglo country could hold him back from job promotions, so we never learned spanish.
H e took us to Peru for a 2 month visit when I was thirteen and it was a wonderful experience and I would love to go back in the next year or two and do some volunteer work with the poor and street children.
