There are two of us looking to study French in private lessons. We would like to have a private lesson either once or twice a week.
We are both total beginners. We are both professionals in our 40's. We are looking to learn the language for personal advancenment and cultural education.
We have both studied Spanish in High School. We do not consider ourselves language gifted so we seek a teacher with patience and experience with absolute beginners.

I am completely a beginner in Portuguese, but the reason I want to learn it is so that I may communicate with my grandmother in Brazil, along with my father, grandfather, and uncles. My grandmother speaks only a few words in English, and I would like to be able to talk to her without the necessary translation from my father. I recently just met my family in Brazil for the first time in twenty years, and I am only twenty-one years old. You will find that I am a very dedicated student, and will try to work in whatever schedule I may so that I may learn to communicate better.
