I was proficient in French I & II in high school, approximately twenty years ago. I now have a teenage daughter, who has chosen French at a Private school in the northeast. She is struggling in a college prep level class, as language is a weakness for her. I want to re-awaken the French that I learned, so that I can help her to practice & converse. Hopefully, if all goes well, she & I will make a trip to France in the next few years.
I'm not sure how quickly it will come back to me, but considering the situation, it's pretty important for me to make some serious strides faily rapidly. I would think that once or twice a week for lessons would be sufficient, however, I am open to change.
