My wife and I are considering retiring to France within the next 6 to 12 months. Neither of us has any proficiency in the French language. So we are looking for those skills to help enter the French culture. These include conversation, reading, and writing. Depending on the structure we could be willing to dedicate 4 to 8 hours a week for instruction and homework. A teacher with excellent knowledge of the language and the culure combined with the ability to structure a multifaceted program is desired.

So far I have been self-teaching Czech to myself. I currently am exchanging e-mails with people from Czech Republic in their language just to practice. What I pretty much do is try to translate what they wrote, and with my dictionary online I write them back. And it is not too hard, but I need to know how to do it without a dictionary. I can read it pretty well, but often I can not understand what it means. Also when I hear it, I understand just a little. I would like to learn Czech because I plan on becoming an English or Geography teacher in the Czech Republic (Or Spain, since I speak English, but Czech is the language I would love to speak!!!) I would spend any time it takes for me to learn the language. I am so deeply interested that right now nothing much else is of such importance :) I would like a teacher (either in person or through other means of communication ) that would explain me step by step, how to use the language correctly, at least grammatically as a first step to get me on reading it and then using it in conversations . I am quite interested, so for any teacher (s) out there, I am the best student you will ever have!!! :) Thank you! I look forward to hear from someone out there!!!!

I can travel and shop and conjugate verbs in the present tense. I would like to increase my grammer and comfort with conversation.
I need to be more fluent for the work that I am doing.
Ideal ly, I am looking for an immersion course located in the Tijuana area. I would like to spend a month, 5 days a week on this study.
The qualities I am looking for in my teacher are patience and humor.
